We have been working with Wendy for 6 months. After testing her, we realized that her single leg strength was a priority as well as resistance training to develop her strength imbalance between her lower and upper body. Today, Wendy did 20 reps per leg on a tempo rear foot elevated split squat with 50 pounds of dumbbells and 10 tempo pull-up negatives. We finished with some aerobic sessions where we has been working to find what a "sustainable" pace feels like. She has enjoyed that her training is aligned with her goals after frustration from hopping from program to program and not seeing the results she expects from her training plan.
