The value of assessments, is that they can often provide valuable information, such as where clients are weakest in a movement. In the strict muscle-up for example, we often see clients missing strength and exposure in the pull to push transition. By gaining exposure to this range of motion, as well as strength, we often see dramatic performance benefits in strength, muscular endurance and overall technique. As you can see in this picture, the top client, has developed more strength in the portion of the strict muscle-up where he transition from primarily upper body pulling, to upper body pushing. The client in the bottom picture, lacks this transitional strength, primarily in her triceps. Through our Central Athlete assessment process, our Coaches are able to determine the most potent exercises for maximizing strength progressions and avoiding plateaus.
