Her Coach, chose to utilize the contralateral carry to challenge her core in a manner that is rather unique, yet potent. After three weeks of training her contralateral carry for 20 meters improved from 44/20 pounds to 60/30 pounds really demonstrating a better balance her lateral core strength and her shoulder stabilization. Her tabata strict sit-ups went from an average score of 8 to a 10. Her chin over bar hold increased 8 seconds to a 30 second hold. Her 20 rep max walking lunge increased 5 pounds per hand to 25 pounds dumbbells. It just so happens that accomplishing these feats will lead to increased lean body mass and improved metabolism, which is her primary focus.
