THE KETTLEBELL PENTATHLON CHALLENGE!!!!!
All funds raised go towards Coach Randal Setzler’s Trip to RUSSIA!

Friendly Kettlebell Competition that will consist of 5 mini kettlebell workouts. Athletes will be divided into 2 heats. Heat 2 will be counters for Heat 1 and vice versa.
Pentathlon is – five 6min sets with a 5min rest in between each.

Points are earned by reps with consideration of weight. Every 8kg = 1point . Thus a 16kg= 2points and 32kg= 4points
Athletes will have up to 6 min at each station to earn as many points as possible by repping out the listed technique with whatever weight they choose.

CrossFit boxes across Central Texas are joining together in support of Barbells for Boobs and the battle against breast cancer. Barbells for Boobs is a non-profit organization that provides funding to pay for breast cancer detection services as a last resort for thousands of people who don’t qualify for assistance elsewhere. The organization aims to help anyone that needs it, anywhere, whether they are male or female, no matter what their age or situation in life. This is a excellent opportunity to take on a great CrossFit workout and help others in the community.

How to sign up for the WOD: First- join the fundraiser online and raise at least $25!
Then email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com to request a heat time OR JUST SHOW UP on event day and get into a heat!
The WOD: Grace- 30 Clean and Jerks for Time!
Workout Details: We will run heats of 25-30 athletes every 15 minutes, starting with a KIDS heat at 8ish and TEAMS at 8:15! There will be PLENTY of space for everyone!
Shirts: There will be a select amount of B4B shirts for sale! Come early to get your size! All proceeds will be added to our Team Awesome fundraising total!
This event is open to any and ALL CrossFit affiliates & athletes interested in doing the WOD and fundraising.
100% of net proceeds collected from ALL fundraising events support Barbells for Boobs, a 501(c)3 non-profit breast cancer organization whose mission is to provide funding for qualified low income & uninsured women and men who need screening and / or diagnostic procedures in the prevention of breast cancer.
Fight for Air Climbs are the American Lung Association’s most unique fundraisers. Climbs take place in prominent skyscrapers, stadiums or arenas and involve walking, running or racing up hundreds of steps. Sometimes called a “vertical road race”, teams and individual participants can use the event as a fitness target, as a race, or as a great way to be active and meet new friends.
We know a lot about lung disease, but there is so much we don’t know. Your participation will raise the funds necessary to provide lifesaving education, research and advocacy so we can beat lung disease and soon find a cure.
