What is CrossFit Central?
CrossFit Central is a company that utilizes the national CrossFit philosophy in every training program offered. We offer a variety of programs for all fitness levels, including Boot Camps, and indoor programs. CrossFit Central focuses on fitness and wellness through community development and support.

What’s the difference between Boot Camp and CrossFit?
Boot Camps take place in an outdoor setting and focus on cardio work while utilizing your body’s own isometrics to build strength and gain agility. CrossFit classes take place indoors at our CrossFit Central facility and focus more on using external weights to build strength while placing an emphasis on form and technique.

Do I need to be a serious athlete to do CrossFit, Boot Camp or Athletic Training?
One of the best things about CrossFit Central is that every program is scalable to each individual’s fitness level, so whether you’re a serious athlete or working out for the first time, CrossFit Central is for you.

I Am Visiting From Out of Town, Can I Drop In?
Yes! We love visitors! You can come and drop while you are here – our rules are you must have been CrossFitting at an affiliate gym for at least 3-months, check out our schedule online, select a class that is not sold out and then send us an email request to info@crossfitcentral.com and await approval.  Our drop in fee for out of town CrossFitters is $20.  Come 10 minutes early to fill out our information form and waiver.  We look forward to meeting with you.

How intense are the classes?
Our programs are all scalable to your fitness level. In other words, it’s you against the workout—you get to decide exactly how intense your workout will be.

What results can I expect?
You can expect to get in the best shape of your life with CrossFit Central. Melt away 5-10 unwanted pounds, get out of the gym for a not so traditional workout, and cut your personal training fees by ¾. You can also expect to get better core strength and a tighter backside, as well as functional strength and agility, that apply to sports and everyday life.

I really want to sign up, but the class I want is SOLD OUT. Is there a wait list?
Yes there is a wait list! Stop by and see our front desk at the Burnet location, email info@crossfitcentral.com or call 512.507.6450 and let them know the time you would like. You can only have your name on two waiting lists.

Are there shower facilities available at the CrossFit Central Facility?
Yes! Our 6205-A Burnet Road facility does include two showers that are open for use by our clients, but bring your own toiletries!

What is your weather policy?
When it’s raining, the class meets at the scheduled location and then moves to a covered area. In more severe weather, check the Web site for updates or look for an email from the instructor with more information on cancellations or relocations.

I need to cancel my membership – what do I need to do?
We ask for a two week notice for cancellations by email to info@crossfitcentral.com. If the auto payment has already come out we are unable to give you a refund. Auto payments run the Sunday before each program starts.

Who are the class instructors?
CrossFit Central instructors are all CrossFit and CPR certified and all are experienced in group training. CrossFit Central instructors are highly motivated and experienced individuals who will coach you to your fitness and wellness goals!
