To begin in Olympic Weightlifting, all new athletes start in an 8-week program designed to introduce you to the sport and the exercises.

The Barbell Sport 101 class will cover:

  • Core Olympic lifts – snatch, clean & jerk
  • Lift variations and progressions
  • Auxiliary lifts
  • Proper hand and body placement
  • Lifting terminology
  • What equipment to buy.

Barbell Sport 101
Each 8 week session is limited to 8 people
Fridays @ 5:30am | Open to anyone
