To begin in Olympic Weightlifting, all new athletes start in an 8-week program designed to introduce you to the sport and the exercises.
The Barbell Sport 101 class will cover:
- Core Olympic lifts – snatch, clean & jerk
- Lift variations and progressions
- Auxiliary lifts
- Proper hand and body placement
- Lifting terminology
- What equipment to buy.
