Before Relentless Boot Camp was conveniently brought to my office at Spiceworks, I had not worked out consistently in over a year. I’m not a gym person so I would try workout videos or running on my own, but I just didn’t have the self motivation. I wasn’t happy with my weight or the way my clothes were fitting.
I was very athletic growing up and the team environment, as well as competitive nature, of the CrossFit classes appealed to me. I’m completely motivated to get out with my classmates/co-workers to workout and I rarely miss a class! I feel like I’m in the best shape that I’ve been in since my high school days as an athlete. My defining moment was when coach Karen Pierce had me perform 10 pushups on my toes in front of the entire class. That was one of my first goals!
I lost 7% body fat, 3 inches from my waist and hips, dropped 2 dress sizes & lost 20 pounds
Relentless has helped me realize that I can still be in great shape at my age and it’s opened my eyes to better eating habits that I share with my family.
