Dalton's roots trace back to Riviera, Texas, where his journey into sports commenced at a tender age. From soccer to football and baseball, he relished the thrill of competition during his elementary and middle school years. At 14, Dalton received a weight set from his father, igniting his fervor for strength training and marking the inception of his devotion to athletic performance and human movement.
Following high school, Dalton embarked on a new chapter by joining the Army, confronting a fresh array of physical tests that demanded an evolution in his training regimen. Embracing CrossFit introduced him to the realms of Olympic lifting and gymnastics, setting him apart and propelling him into a role as a team leader. His newfound ardor for assisting peers in their progress towards overarching objectives not only enhanced their performance but also equipped them to meet the rigors of their duties.
Transitioning out of the military in 2018, Dalton relocated to Austin to pursue a degree in Biology at the University of Texas. Delving into powerlifting, he immersed himself in the community, eventually transitioning from competitor to coach, honing his leadership skills while aiding others in their athletic pursuits. Concurrently, he delved into physical therapy clinics in 2019, expanding his expertise in injury rehabilitation, aligning with his aspiration to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. Armed with a fresh arsenal of techniques, Dalton empowered his clients to recover effectively and maintain injury-free training regimens.
Dalton's trajectory took an exciting turn in 2020 when he ventured into wrestling as a member of the UT Wrestling Club and embarked on Brazilian Jiu-jitsu training. Leveraging his diverse training background, he not only competed but also assumed coaching roles in both disciplines. This newfound passion deepened his understanding of strength and conditioning tailored to specific sports, emphasizing injury prevention and optimized performance training.
Driven by an unwavering commitment to personal growth and assisting others in their pursuits, Dalton's aspirations extend to physical therapy school. His aim is to comprehensively comprehend human movement and injury rehabilitation, enabling him to cater to a broad spectrum of individuals. Dalton's ultimate goal is to leverage his expertise to enhance the lives of as many people as possible, transcending boundaries of background and aspiration.
